Other than all that, it's pretty. I like it. Hope the next Audi 7 has a happier looking ass, though.

But still, my favourite is their Velvet Purple. My neighbour has an S5 in Velvet Purple, and i really love it!

DO WANT! DO WANT VERY BADLY! It also needs a slightly different tone on the wheel. Like a nice champagne with a light metallic effect. No gold badges or aything like that besides perhaps some faint metallic pinstriping on a few body lines. Perhaps to match the wheels But what do I know, I can't afford this car anyways :(

A friend of mine has a TTS in orange with aluminum bits. The orange complements it perfectly, but I'm not entirely sure it would be appropriate for such a large sedan/hatchback thing.

black chrome window trim and dark silver mirrors

Gunmetal center versions of those wheels, or the Voxx wider aftermarket alternative.

RS7 style black mesh grille.

Basically less brightwork... more dark silver/gunmetal/blackout.

It worked for Frank Bullitt.

The A7 has a horrible rear as that sharp ridge makes the back seem unfinished. It's also a bit pointless - why not have an A5 if you want a coupe or an A8 if you want a limo.

So really, that color on an RS6? Hell yes! On an S7? Not for me...

I actually think the rear of the S7 is the only good part of a car that otherwise manages to somehow be bland and fussy at the same time. The stupid bulging fake air intake at the front ruins the most inspired line of the base A7.

In response to everything you said: The A/S7 has better lines than either of those, (IMHO) but most-importantly it has FOUR DOORS AND A LIFTBACK!

As a Saab enthusiast, it makes me happy that someone is at least offering that body style here in the states still.

I do love the A5 and the A8 is great for what it is, but given a choice of roughly-equal cars where one has a trunk and one has a fast/liftback, the one with the lift/hatch will win every damn time, regardless of the number of passenger doors it has.
